Independent, secular, academically selective boys’ preparatory school. St Ives Preparatory School prepares boys for entry to Sydney Grammar School at College Street in the city. Preschool, Kindergarten, Year 3, Year 5 (limited places) and in other years if places are available.

Sydney Grammar School offers up to 25 full Academic Scholarships every year for entry into Form I (Year 7) at College Street, as well as Music Scholarships, also for entry into Form I at College Street. In addition, we can offer fee-assisted places to boys wishing to join the School in Year 7 or above whose parents would otherwise be unable to afford the fees. We do not offer scholarships or fee-assisted places for entry into our Preparatory Schools. All boys are eligible for our scholarships, including boys at our Preparatory Schools.
Open Day is held at the School each year in May. This year Open Day will be held on Friday 10 May.
