The holistic education and all round development of each boy remains the key focus of the College. Nudgee College offers a rich diversity of educational opportunities in the classroom, in the pastoral care program, in extensive co-curricular pursuits, as well as in faith development and social justice activities. This is complemented by the world-class facilities across the 136 hectare campus, including playing fields, an Olympic-standard athletics track, two heated swimming pools, gymnasium, modern music and art studios, a 400-seat auditorium, and an on-site agricultural centre.

Our Boarding community is often described as the heart of the College, and is the essence of the ‘village’ to help raise a child. Boarders’ health and wellbeing is of the utmost importance to College staff. The on-campus Health Centre provides 24/7 care to students, ensuring that at any time, day or night, they can receive the care they need. The College also has a boarding-specific clinical psychologist, who assists in proactive wellbeing initiatives and provides support for boys in need. Every member of the Boarding team is dedicated to building a strong rapport with the boys in their care, so they can support them during hard times, and celebrate with them during moments of success.

As a member of the Queensland Greater Public Schools (GPS) Association, the College provides a healthy and social opportunity for large numbers of boys to take part in a wide range of sporting and cultural activities. These include Cricket, Debating, Rowing, Swimming, Volleyball, Cross Country, Football, Tennis, Basketball, Chess, Rugby and Track and Field. There are many other clubs and teams that students can be part of, including Theatresports, various music ensembles and bands, and Cattle Club.

Ultimately, Nudgee College strives to develop young men of big hearts and good character.

Academically, every student at Nudgee College is catered for through the diverse nature of our subject offerings, our state of the art learning facilities, our Inclusive Learning department, our Enrichment and Extension program, and our Vocational Education and Training program (RTO code: 30498). With a focus on 21st century skills, all boys are encouraged and taught to be critical thinkers, problem solvers, to create and innovate, and to be able to communicate and collaborate. These are the skills required of them to succeed in life.
